From the minute you enter Wilsmere House you will feel the warmth radiating from the caring and homely atmosphere we provide. Our priority is the individual’s well-being and providing the very best and most appropriate care. We emphasise the traditional values of compassion, care and dignity whilst celebrating life to the full.

Our nursing home prides itself on its ability to provide first class nursing care for residents with a wide variety of different symptoms, backgrounds and challenges.

Our highly skilled multi-disciplinary team receive training in a range of relevant areas including but not limited to the management of different neurological conditions and ventilator care.

In addition, our Memory Lane community specialises in dementia care, enabling every resident to thrive in an environment designed to stimulate and enrich their lives.

Our person-centered team are experienced in responding to the challenges that dementia presents, at whichever stage of the journey.

The individuals we support also have access to in-house physiotherapy from our skilled team. In addition, we can arrange access to speech and language specialists, dental, optical, chiropody and complementary services.

We encourage family and friends to join in with our thriving activity schedule when they visit.

As well as several lounges and a conservatory, our home has a large gym, a low level kitchen for rehabilitation, a hairdressers and beautiful gardens of which we are very proud. It means Wilsmere House really is a home from home.
