Lindum House is a modern, purpose-built care home just a mile and a half from the market town of Beverley, with the famous Beverley Racecourse just one mile away. It provides personal care and 24-hour nursing support for elderly people, those living with disabilities and people with long-term conditions. All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own furniture and pictures. The home has extensive and pleasant grounds and makes good use of its internal space in providing rooms for communal activities and quieter, more intimate spaces.

Care at Lindum House is centred on personalised care planning. Wherever possible an assessment is carried out prior to admission, establishing basic needs, likes and dislikes. Following admission this will be considerably expanded, working through the plan with the individual concerned where possible and otherwise with relatives or friends. The care plan then provides a basis for treatment and for planning activities, which is regularly reviewed by the care and support team, the individual concerned, relatives and visiting health professionals where that’s helpful.

Planned activities are organised by and activities coordinator, with all staff encouraged to regard activities as a key element of care at the home. They include musical events, one-to-one personal care, outside entertainments, trips out, gardening and baking.

We would very much like you to see what we provide for yourself. We welcome visitors and are always happy to give advice if we can, so please feel free to call round or to contact us.

Care, activities, facilities and food are all major focuses at our home. It is important that each of these services are tailored to the individual needs and preferences of residents, which is why we employ a wonderful team of professionals who can deliver support using a warm and person-centred approach.
