Asquith Putney Day Nursery
Terrible nursery.
Terrible nursery. Very high staff turnover (all 5 of my son's key workers left). Staff that had looked after our little ones for years were let go by new management without parents being informed, and without the children being given the opportunity to say goodbye, despite parents raising concerns with the nursery and with Asquiths as a company. How is that good for little children?
It is only with the arrival of my second child and a different nursery that I have realised the extent of how bad this nursery was.
There are much nicer, friendlier, more caring, and more affordable nurseries and childcare companies out there that are also better run. Even if the nursery is being refurbished, I wouldn't give Asquiths my money and would go somewhere else.

Try and find another nursery than Asquith Putney
Asquith Putney have given parents one month to find alternative childcare arrangements as they are undertaking 'refurbishment' that is apparently not a cover up but cannot wait for parents to properly find satisfactory alternative arrangements. Asquith has shown themselves as a corporate company just out to line their pockets and do not care about the welfare of children. AVOID. At any rate there was a very high staff turnover and was very expensive. Even after refurbishment, use at your peril.

Don't bother with this nursery
* Our experience started well, but...
* Extremely high turnover of staff - not good.
* Billing is incorrect almost every month.
* Settling/start dates from one room to the other have changed several times - unsettling for child.
* Have just been told, with 4 weeks notice, the nursery will close in mid September until end of the year - how are we to find a local nursery with space to send our child to, especially during the summer vacation period? Absolutely disappointed!

Firstly, apologies for any inconvenience that the temporary closure of the nursery causes you and your family.
The decision to close the nursery, whilst we undertake a major refurbishment, has not been taken lightly but we believe it is in the best interests of both the children and staff. The safety and wellbeing of children and staff is our number one priority and due to the extensive nature of the works taking place it would be unsafe to remain open during this time.

Apologies - part 2
The nursery will close on September 13th and re-open at the end of the year. During this period we will be attempting to accommodate parents and children at alternative Asquith nursery near by.

Also disappointed with Putney
We also got a letter today saying the nursery will close and we are in the same boat as the other parent. They have given the minimum possible notice and thus created the biggest chaos for us - how to find a new nusery in time to take 2 children!!! Head office suggested the nearest Asquith group nursery is in Kew!!! Are they serious??? This is ridiculous!! If only we had changed to another nursery sooner!

Nursery won't open 'til January 2014
We've just been told today that the nursery won't open again until January 2014 - so even the information you put out is inaccurate!!
We were told this present period the nursery has "minimum business" - hence the timing of this notice of closure. So, it is the business that comes first, not the children and staff as you allegedly claim!!
